Both the Seminar and the Course will be held in Porto Alegre, Brazil, the capital of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The city covers 500 square kilometers (km²) of area, has approximately 1.3 million inhabitants and has become the main business pole in Brazil on the route from other Brazilian main cities to other Mercosur^* market members countries(^* process aimed at establishing a common market in Cone South).
